ProdLib – Free product information and models for CADMATIC Building
ProdLib is a free design tool tailored for construction professionals, such as architects and structural engineers. The application provides access to a wide range of manufacturers' product collections, which can be seamlessly integrated into CADMATIC Building as dwg or dxf symbols. Additionally, pdf materials can be imported into projects directly from ProdLib.
How does ProdLib streamline your work process?

- Automatic updates. ProdLib automatically monitors product libraries and notifies users of available updates. This ensures that you always have the latest product information and collections at your disposal, enabling you to base your projects on accurate and up-to-date data.
After installing ProdLib, you gain access to dozens of up-to-date product libraries. Each library contains hundreds of objects, allowing you to choose the most suitable one for your own project. ProdLib is integrated directly within the CADMATIC Building software, enabling you to also make modifications to symbols. You can adjust the colors and content of the symbol, and additionally, make the 3D symbol BIM-compatible.

Managing content
As a ProdLib user, you can be sure that you always have the latest product information at your disposal. The application’s background function regularly checks that the content is up-to-date, and all available updates are clearly notified to the user.
Once the content has been downloaded, the libraries can also be used offline.
Although installing ProdLib requires administrative rights, individual users can still manage existing libraries or download new ones without these rights.
